Modern Lake View

The team were approached to design additions to a growing family’s home to create addition space and maximise the view.

Project Brief

Our clients wanted an addition to the rear to provide a new living area with main suite above, a rear BBQ deck and elevated pool as well as some additional car parking spaces to the front.

Design Outcome

The property is situated on the shores of Wangi Wangi Lake Macquarie.

A new ground floor addition would provide endless views from the dining and living area with direct access to the BBQ deck and pool.
A container pool was proposed due to the slope of the site for ease of connection and construction.

The first floor was reserved for a main bedroom suite with direct access back to the existing bedrooms via a little internal balcony. The main suite has views from the bed, bath and the shower over the beautiful waters of Lake Macquarie.

An additional carport and garage were added to the front of the dwelling to allow for the existing garage to be turned into a games room for the growing children.
